RGB 565 Support / 16 bits Color Depth

Hi there, i was wondering if it's possible to work in Pixelorama with a specific color depth?
Many programs, including paid competitors doesn't have this and the lowest they go is 8 bits per channel (making it 24 bits R8 G8 B8 A8)

If it's not possible, is it planned or can it be workarounded?
