It seems that negative years are not properly parsed when entered manually.
e.g. If I directly type in the input field "-100" the datepicker sets the year to "100" and not "-100"; scrolling backward and manually selecting a negative year works and produces the expected result, it is the parsing of a manually entered negative year that seems not to work
I am working in archaelogy and negative years I need to enter manually negative years.
