[Improvement] "We have ran out of credits" Fix Suggestion. #14
Comments
Hey! Thanks for your feedback and for being a regular user of MiniPerplx. The issue you're experiencing is due to the Tavily Web Search API limits. MiniPerplx has been seeing increased usage every day, and the 1,000 requests per month are no longer sufficient, especially after I introduced the multi-search feature. I've already reached out to Tavily for a usage increase, and I'm waiting for their response. |
Thanks for answering good Dev! I thought it had to he with the models' credits, in any case you can close this issue whenever you want. Once again thank you for such an awesome project. |
Good Dev @zaidmukaddam I am compelled to request an increase in the Tavily Web Search API limits as the usage of the project has been increasing due to Miniperplx being the most useful and it-just-works-good AI search engine out there. I thought you could open a ko-fi page for donations. Trust everyone who have said so far that you have an seriously awesome project here. |
Hey! I’ll be upgrading the search limits soon. For donations, I’ve enabled GitHub Sponsors: [GitHub Sponsors](https://github.com/sponsors/zaidmukaddam). |
Hello good Miniperplx Dev.
I have been using your project on a daily basis and, as I have previously mentioned, its performance is really awesome. With the improvement of multi-search and whatever you have done for its search parameters, the information it gives is, in my opinion, even better than Perplexity, almost on pair with Copilot. The only downside I have found are the constant messages due to a lack of credits of the 4 models.
I have thought of a solution that perhaps could help; how do you think the addition of an OLLAMA model, like 405B, would affect Miniperplx' performance? You could use it as a fifth option to the other models and we, users, could use it when the main 4 run out of credits.
